My mind goes dark

Blast the music so I can feel the spark 

Hoping someday my existence will leave a mark

I've been so stuck, can't seem to start 

Not even sure if I'm playing my part 

Working so hard to alleviate this pain in my heart 

Sipping on caffeine, my mind starts to dart
